Super Freak Series
KNUCKLE HEAD, GOOSE BUMPS, and GREMLINS are the first three varieties of the new Super Freak™ Series. All three are heavily warted; pumpkins and a spectacular variety of unique gourds that are unlike anything currently being sold in the decorative Halloween pumpkin/gourd market. "They are completely unique," said Roy Pearman, Director of Sales and Marketing for Siegers, "and give our growers something different to sell in addition to their current pumpkin and gourd sales. These varieties fit the market because they demonstrate a perfect theme for Halloween by creating perfectly freaky and scary Jack O Lanterns".

Small warted gourds have long been a standard fall decoration, but no one has yet been able to bring a full-sized reliably- and heavily-warted pumpkin to the market until now. With KNUCKLE HEAD and GOOSE BUMPS, Siegers has broken that mold. Additionally, GREMLINS is a spectacular variety of uniquely shaped and colored large warted gourds. They truly are amazing! Test marketing has shown the new class to be a hit with consumers. According to Pearman, "nobody has ever seen anything like it. Impact produces high-yield, early maturing, dark green cucumbers with an amazingly strong bacteria and virus disease package. Jolly Elf - the first determinate hybrid grape tomato - features high yields, great size, shape and taste without the expense of labor for high stakes. Last but not least, Sugarheart seedless watermelon offers excellent uniformity with bright red flesh in a Crimson-type rind pattern.
